This is something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time. Not just start a YouTube channel, but find a way to open up the process behind the work. The projects. The wins, the headaches, and the quieter moments that never make it into a pitch deck or polished cut.
Today I published the first episode of Ground(ed) Glass on YouTube.
It’s part introduction, part reflection. I talk about why I’m starting this, what Ground(ed) Glass means to me, and what I learned from attending the Stanley/Barker photobook masterclass in Cambridge.
The video touches on:
What this channel will be
The experience of having my work reviewed by Gregory and Rachel Barker
What it’s like to be a freelancer trying to balance client work with passion projects
Why community and feedback are so essential to this kind of creative work

If you find it helpful, be sure to like the video and subscribe to the channel. It really helps get this in front of others who might benefit from it too.
If anything in it resonates, feel free to reply here or leave a comment on the video. And if you have topics you’d like to see me explore next, let me know.
Thanks for following along. More to come.
